Our Journey with Fire – Summer 2026

FIRE Joy • Connection • The Open Heart

In the warmth of summer, explore Fire, the element of joy, relationship and wholehearted living. Through nature connection, meditation, creativity, play and systems thinking, discover how an open heart can deepen our connection with ourselves, each other and the living world.

Session 1: Igniting the Spark – Play and the Heart
Explore the origins of fire through deep time, discover the wisdom of the heart, expand your capacity for joy through playful practice, and create a naturally scented candle to represent your inner light.

Session 2: Nourishing the flame – Joy and Vulnerability
Explore the emotions of the Fire element, soften perfectionism through play, reconnect with the more-than-human world, and create your Council of All Beings mask.

Session 3: Rekindling the Hearth – Connection and Celebration
Reflect on humanity’s changing relationship with Fire, step into the Council of All Beings, create a botanical perfume, and celebrate with food, music and dance as we imagine a future where Fire connects rather than consumes.

Whether you’re looking to reconnect with yourself, others or the living world, this is a welcoming space to slow down, play, learn and grow together.

Rachel Geary

Rachel Geary BA(Hons), Lic. Ac. MBAcC is a fully qualified acupuncturist, having graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in 2002. She has previously practised in Inverness and Barnstaple. "I first became interested in acupuncture whilst I was at university studying History and Philosophy. I was particularly drawn to eastern philosophy, which I found particularly elegant and beautiful. I then went on to complete a three and a half year course of study in acupuncture and discovered it to exemplify these very same qualities. I feel very privileged to have been able to learn so much about the Chinese understanding of health and to be able to use this knowledge to help others." Rachel Geary is a Registered Acupuncturist, she is registered at The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), and The Association of Community and Multibed Acupuncture Clinic (ACMAC).
